What you will do

• Develop engaging experiences for mobile and web applications.
• Design and implement scalable apps and services, integrating them into an evolving product architecture.
• Brainstorm and evaluate new product features in collaboration with product and UX teams.
• Collaborate with other developers to develop solutions and teach technical skills.
• Champion and implement automated testing practices and take ownership of service reliability.
• Actively engage in on-call responsibilities and contribute to incident management efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, leading large projects on high-scale, distributed software systems.
• Proficient in backend development with Node, Elixir, Ruby/Rails, Typescript/Javascript, utilizing React or similar frontend.
• Experience with direct usage of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL/GCP Cloud SQL), including migrations, profiling, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience developing APIs and services for mobile and web clients at scale.
• Successfully delivered complex projects, including debugging problems that span multiple systems.
• Experience working with and architecting APIs, event streams, and webhooks.
• Must be a permanent US resident.
