Salary: $29.56/hr to $35.58/hr in Chicago, and $27.64/hr to $33.17/hr for Phoenix.

What you will do
- Own the customer journey by building trust and partnership through inbound and outbound phone, email, and Zoom interactions.
- Act as a dedicated advisor, providing expert support for payroll and benefits inquiries.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate research and communication while upholding accuracy and compliance.
- Proactively connect with customers to build deep understanding of their business and preferred connection style.
- Identify and quickly act to mitigate churn risk using product knowledge.
- Partner with customers and cross-functionally to unblock points of friction and address concerns.
Requirements
- 6+ years of customer experience with 1+ year of full-time experience in Payroll, and 2+ years of account management.
- Proven ability to proactively and reactively support customers, driving their success.
- Demonstrate AI fluency in a customer-facing role, routinely delegating repetitive work to AI, crafting structured prompts, and critically reviewing outputs.
- Proven impact from AI use, with examples of measurable efficiency and quality gains.
- Ability to synthesize and communicate complex subjects clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Salesforce, Zoom, Google Suite, Google Calendar, Gmail, and Chili Piper.
