Account Manager (Accounting Software): Leading and growing a book of business for existing mid-market clients with an accent on identifying expansion opportunities and managing the full lifecycle renewal. Focus on cross-functional collaboration with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Sales Operations to ensure client renewal and expansion.
Location: Hybrid (New York City, NY), requiring 3 days per week in office. Visa sponsorship is NOT available at this time.
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 (base pay)

What you will do
- Lead and grow a book of business for existing mid-market clients, identifying expansion opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Sales Operations.
- Manage the full lifecycle renewal and customer expansion in partnership with the CSM team.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and account information in Salesforce.com.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Travel up to 30% within assigned territory for client relationship building.
Requirements
- 2+ years of demonstrated successful B2B software sales experience.
- Ability to lead a sales process and close meaningful revenue.
- Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, online collaboration tools, and CRM (Salesforce.com).
- Proven communication skills via telephone, email, and video with senior-level stakeholders.
- Ability to develop, manage, and accurately forecast a robust pipeline.
