 Rafeeq is a leading technology platform in Qatar, serving millions of orders annually with high-performance, real-time infrastructure. Our mobile apps power delivery, e-commerce, booking services, and real-time tracking systems at scale.
 We are looking for a React Native Engineer to build and optimize high-performance mobile applications used by thousands of users daily.
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 • Develop and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native
 • Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable UI components
 • Integrate RESTful and real-time APIs (WebSockets, push notifications)
 • Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and memory usage
 • Implement real-time features (live tracking, order status updates, chat, notifications)
 • Work closely with backend engineers to define API contracts
 • Improve CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds and releases
 • Ensure app stability, crash reduction, and performance monitoring
 • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
 • Manage app releases on App Store & Google Play
 
 Required Technical Skills
 
 Core Mobile Development
 3+ years of experience in React Native
 • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
 • Deep understanding of React hooks, state management, lifecycle
 • Experience with Redux, Zustand, or similar state management tools
 • Experience building production apps deployed to App Store and Google Play
 
 Performance & Optimization
 
 Experience optimizing:
 • Rendering performance
 • Network calls
 • Memory management
 • App startup time
 • Knowledge of performance profiling tools (Flipper, React DevTools, etc.)
 
 Real-Time & API Integration
 
 Experience integrating:
 • REST APIs
 • WebSockets
 •. Push Notifications (Firebase, APNs)
 • Experience implementing live tracking or real-time updates
 
 Native & Platform Knowledge
 
 Familiarity with:
 • Native modules (iOS Swift / Android Kotlin is a plus)
 • App lifecycle management
 • Deep linking
 • Background tasks
 • Understanding of mobile security best practices
 
 DevOps & Delivery
 
 Experience with:
 • CI/CD for mobile apps
 • Fastlane or similar tools
 • Code signing & store deployment processes
 
 Nice to Have
 
 • Experience in delivery, ride-hailing, or real-time apps
 • Experience working with maps (Google Maps SDK)
 • Experience implementing payment SDKs
 • Knowledge of offline-first architecture
 • Experience with crash monitoring tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry)
