What you will do

• Acquire space mission knowledge by studying existing literature and interfacing with the system security team.
• Analyze current threats and potential vulnerabilities, leveraging existing threat catalogues dedicated to space missions.
• Define potential attack scenarios for satellite systems.
• Propose and develop realistic scenarios for security testing.
• Identify detection techniques and conduct forensic investigations.

Requirements

• Studying for a degree in engineering, information technology, or equivalent.
• Previous experience or studies in Cybersecurity, RF and digital communication, or Software Defined Radio.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Duration: minimum 4 months.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with Python, C++, GNU Radio, HackRF One, or RTL-SDR.
• German and other language skills advantageous.
