TL;DR

Agile Scrum Master: Facilitating high-quality product delivery on the Index Technology team with an accent on removing obstacles, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and promoting Agile practices. Focus on sprint planning, risk management, and ensuring transparency in the development process.

Location: Hybrid work environment in Atlanta, GA, with at least 3 days a week in office.

What you will do

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
• Support Product Owners by assisting with backlog management, and ensuring the team understands the product goals and scope.
• Remove blockers by identifying and eliminating obstacles that impact the team’s progress.
• Track progress and monitor team performance through key metrics and ensure transparency in the development process.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to suggest and implement improvements.
• Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholder

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices, as well as software development processes and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to facilitate and collaborate effectively in cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira or similar project management platforms.

Nice to have

• Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM).
• Experience leading projects in financial data or capital markets domains.
