What you will do

  • Conduct customer segmentation, targeting, and sales force sizing analyses to optimize engagement strategies.
  • Design and execute territory alignment and optimization projects to maximize market coverage and sales potential.
  • Analyze sales performance data, conduct competitive intelligence, and support launch planning for new pharmaceutical products.
  • Collaborate with pharmaceutical clients to understand commercial challenges and present actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Extract, clean, and manipulate large commercial and healthcare datasets using SQL.
  • Develop automated analytical workflows, build predictive models, and create interactive dashboards for key commercial metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in commercial analytics, pharmaceutical sales operations, or related consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with commercial and healthcare datasets (sales, prescription, customer interaction, CRM).
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical programming languages (SAS, R, and/or Python) and strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and presentation development (PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations including sales force management, territory design, and customer engagement.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on commercial optimization challenges.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Veeva) and commercial analytics platforms.
