What you will do

• Design and lead migration architectures to transition workloads from VMware environments to AWS Outposts and Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
• Conduct discovery, dependency mapping, and readiness assessments to define migration strategies.
• Define target state architectures including networking, security, storage, and compliance.
• Oversee Infrastructure as Code implementations using Terraform and Ansible.
• Govern migration waves and sequencing activities.

Requirements

• 8 to 15 years of experience in solution architecture with a strong focus on VMware and AWS ecosystems.
• Deep expertise in VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Proven experience designing hybrid architectures leveraging AWS Outposts and container platforms such as OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and configuration management using Ansible.
• Strong governance mindset with experience aligning architecture to Statements of Work and enterprise standards.
