Qa Engineer

TL;DR

QA Engineer: Testing hirify.global products in the Prague R&D office, participating in product creation and development with an accent on analysing software requirements and optimizing testing processes. Focus on maintaining defects database and participating in customer technical support processes.

Location: Remote only if you are located in the Czech Republic. If the applicant is permanently present outside of the Czech Republic, the application will not be considered.

What you will do

• Test one or several hirify.global products.
• Participate in products’ creation and development at all stages of their life cycle.
• Participate in planning and creating the product test strategy.
• Communicate with other participants of the product development process.
• Evaluate test results and maintain the defects database.

Requirements

• Technical education or passion for technology.
• 3+ years of software testing experience.
• Deep understanding of software development principles and the QA role in this process.
• Experience developing test strategies and plans, analysing test progress, and optimising the software testing processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux or Unix operating systems.
• English proficiency for daily communication within international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience working with databases like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database.
• Experience working with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experience in test automation.
• Experience managing and developing a QA team.
