What you will do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Kenyan market, tailored to client segments.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting KPIs and monitoring daily operations.
  • Drive acquisition of new clients and partners, including retail clients, IBs, and institutional partnerships.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for key clients and partners, ensuring superior service and retention.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with relevant regulatory frameworks and cultural expectations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, product, marketing, legal, and operations teams to align regional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
  • Holder of Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) certificate.
  • Proven track record of sales success and business expansion in Kenya and the region.
  • Strong understanding of Kenya’s economic landscape, cultural diversity, and regulatory requirements.
  • English: Native/fluent, Kiswahili: Native/fluent.
