What you will do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the Kenyan market.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Drive the acquisition of new clients and partners, including retail clients, IBs, and institutional partnerships.
- Act as the senior point of contact for key clients and partners.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and cultural expectations.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Operations teams to align regional initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience in the financial services industry, ideally in the retail brokerage space, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- Holder of a Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) certificate.
- Proven track record of sales success and business expansion in Kenya and the region.
- Strong understanding of the country’s economic landscape, cultural diversity, and regulatory requirements.
- Language skillset - native/fluent English, native/fluent Kiswahili.
