What you will do

• Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers in the region.
• Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and compliance with HR policies.
• Ensure full compliance with South African labour legislation, including monitoring legal updates and overseeing statutory submissions.
• Prepare and manage employment contracts, personnel documentation, and support HR record-keeping.
• Manage local recruitment processes, including screening, interviews, and background checks.
• Proactively identify and mitigate employee relations risks within the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, with practical experience in disciplinary processes and CCMA-related cases.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage the full HR cycle for a small team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in Cape Town and willing to work in a hybrid model.

• Recruitment experience, particularly in bulk hiring within a Call Centre or BPO environment.
