Business Analyst Intern (Business Analytics)

TL;DR

Business Analyst Intern (Business Analytics): Supporting the Core Lines organization by analyzing data-related processes, identifying inefficiencies, and assisting with project and product management activities with an accent on business requirements, workflow tracking, and coordinating discussions. Focus on translating business needs into automated data processing solutions, following best practices for robustness, quality, and maintainability, and gaining practical project management techniques.

Location: Hybrid in Krakow, Poland, requiring at least 2 days per week on-site.

What you will do

• Analyze data-related processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements in workflows, automation, or communication.
• Support project and product management activities, including business requirements, workflow tracking, and coordinating discussions.
• Support review and analysis of technical solutions, including data processing logic and quality checks.
• Support production-grade automation through development of scripts and services for data processing (Python, SQL).
• Create, update, and maintain documentation, process maps, technical notes, and business requirements.

Requirements

• Enrolled in the last year of a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Business, Economics, Project Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis and technical tools (SQL & Python strongly preferred).
• Basic knowledge of scripting, databases, and ETL concepts, with the ability to apply them in practical data tasks.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Jira or other project management tools.
• Fluent in English; able to work both independently and in a team.

Nice to have

• Experience or coursework in project management or agile methodologies.
• Basic familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Basic automation in MS Office (Excel).
