What you will do

• Architect, design, and lead the implementation of scalable, highly available, and secure AWS cloud platforms.
• Define and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a strong emphasis on Terraform.
• Design and operate event-driven and serverless architectures; build automation with Python, JavaScript, and Bash/Shell.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, embedding code quality, testing, compliance, and security controls.
• Evaluate, integrate, and operationalize managed AI and generative AI services within cloud platforms.
• Provide technical leadership through mentorship, coaching, and architectural guidance to engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Typically 8+ years of related experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Advanced, hands-on expertise with AWS, including compute, networking, serverless technologies, and messaging services.
• Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform; familiarity with AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, and Bash/Shell.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional).
• Experience operating and supporting large-scale, multi-account AWS environments.
• Experience defining platform standards used by multiple teams.
• Familiarity with integrating managed AI or generative AI services in cloud environments.
• Prior experience mentoring engineers or acting as a technical lead on complex initiatives.
