Staff Program Manager

TL;DR

Staff Program Manager: Managing and coordinating complex programs for industrial motion control systems with an accent on ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, effective application of program management principles, and driving process improvements. Focus on achieving program objectives within scope, schedule, and budget, and expanding business through leadership of proposal teams.

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 Annually

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management of all program activities.
• Achieve program/project objectives through effective application of program management principles within the confines of scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support process improvements and standard work implementation within Program Management.
• Sustain and expand the organization's book of business through the leadership and/or support of proposal teams and business capture campaigns.
• Ensure proper coordination between all program elements by developing program plans with detailed schedules and monitoring the status of cost, schedule, and task completion.
• Achieve timely resolution of outstanding issues through effective day-to-day communications with the customer, hirify.global management, and hirify.global functional organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, with a minimum of ten (10) years of professional work experience.
• Minimum six (6) years of Program Management work experience is required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on delivery, quality and financial performance.
• Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and communicating program budgets, plans and schedules for multiple initiatives.
• Demonstrated knowledge in understanding contractual requirements and scope adherence.
• Ability to lead, organize, and influence people through outstanding communication and facilitation skills.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certificate.
• Experience working with Commercial Aftermarket.
