AWS Senior Platform Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Take ownership of important technical and team topics.
• Provide technical guidance and coach engineers.
• Lead, support, and develop team members.

Requirements

• Technical-related degree and/or equivalent professional qualification.
• Fluent in English (both written and oral).
• At least 5 years of experience with cloud, as well as configuring and using CI/CD tools.
• Working experience with AWS: Serverless (CloudFront, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway), EC2, ASG, S3, ECS, IAM.
• Deep understanding of Terraform modules and DevOps principles and practices.
• Working experience with Gitlab or Github.
• Experience with observability and monitoring systems/tools (e.g., Grafana).
• Practical experience working in an agile team.

Nice to have

• Working experience with Javascript/TypeScript, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Experience with relational databases or NoSQL.
• Working experience with Cloud SAS or Azure.
• Solid understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Relevant AWS certifications (CloudOps, Sysops engineer, Solutions architect, Security specialist).
