What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create positive customer impact.
• Write clean, testable, production-ready code considering non-functional requirements.
• Follow features through their entire lifetime from problem formulation to delivery.
• Use quality metrics to identify gaps and define targets for team deliverables.
• Improve internal processes and documentation.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and build production-grade solutions.
• Join an on-call rotation after onboarding to strengthen reliability practices.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of development experience with Python.
• Experience with the Django framework.
• Experience with microservice-based architectures.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL queries, migrations, optimization).
• Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka).
• Care about quality and know what it means to ship high-quality code.
• Communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience in writing units and end-to-end tests.
• Readiness to write on Java (about 10% of tasks).
