TL;DR

Senior UX Researcher: Leading and executing mixed-methods research initiatives to deeply understand user needs and influence product decisions for an online marketplace, with an accent on combining qualitative and quantitative insights. Focus on driving research strategy, empowering cross-functional teams, and systematically measuring customer satisfaction across the user journey.

Location: Hybrid in Portugal (minimum two days per week in the Lisbon office)

What you will do

  • Set the research strategy and roadmap to drive deep understanding of customers and influence important product decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to democratize research through tools, methods, and best practices.
  • Design and conduct foundational, formative, and evaluative research using a mixed-methods approach (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Act as a vocal advocate for customer-centricity, ensuring the user perspective informs decision-making.
  • Own and systematically measure customer satisfaction across the user journey, defining and tracking success metrics.
  • Present compelling findings, create user models and personas, and foster research maturity within the team.

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: 4+ years of experience in UX research with demonstrable history of improving products and services.
  • Ability to combine qualitative and quantitative insights to paint a comprehensive picture of user behaviors.
  • Passion for customer-centricity and a proven ability to champion the user perspective within an organization.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills to effectively sell research insights and influence decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • English: B2 required
