What you will do

• Implement and maintain a technology and operational risk framework for crypto activities in the UAE.
• Ensure compliance with ICT regulations and requirements.
• Support crypto licensing and regulatory engagement with local authorities (e.g., Central Bank of the UAE, VARA, DFSA, FSRA).
• Prepare data and other materials for reporting to management and external authorities.
• Assess and enhance the business continuity plan and perform operational resilience tests.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in tech risk, operational resilience, IT governance, or tech architecture within financial services, fintech, crypto/digital assets, or a consultancy serving these industries is required.
• Solid understanding of technology governance, risk management, compliance, and operational resilience.
• Knowledge of the crypto/blockchain domain.
• Knowledge of technology controls across infrastructure, applications, data, security, and third-party services.
• Experience working in regulated environments, including interacting with regulators, auditors, or supervisory bodies.
• Impressive analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
