Digital Literacy Specialist

Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA with flexible remote and in-office work.

Salary: $27 - $29 per hour. Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates.

What you will do

• Facilitate digital literacy workshops and provide individual coaching aligned with economic empowerment goals.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate digital instruction with service plans.
• Support client access to digital devices, low-cost broadband, and essential platforms.
• Track services and learning outcomes using IRC databases.
• Contribute to the development of digital literacy curricula and materials.
• Coordinate with community partners to expand access to training and connectivity.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent combination of professional and lived experience.
• Lived experience as a refugee or immigrant strongly preferred; demonstrated experience working with refugee and immigrant communities required.
• Experience working with non-native English speakers across a range of proficiency levels.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops, classes, or group instruction.
• Strong digital skills and ability to teach others to use platforms related to employment, training, and financial systems.
• Must have reliable transportation for occasional travel throughout the service delivery area.
