TL;DR

Sr. Staff Digital Design Engineer (DSP, Mixed-Signal): Designing digital logic circuits and digital filters for mixed-signal audio converters, embedded SoCs, and power management ICs with an accent on Verilog design, functional verification, and synthesis of Digital Signal Processing. Focus on implementing RTL modules, performing integration, behavioral modeling of analog circuits, and supporting post-silicon validation.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas, United States. Due to export control restrictions, candidates must be able to access technical data without an export license. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What you will do

• Design digital logic circuits using Verilog, including logic simulation, functional verification, and synthesis.
• Implement RTL modules and perform integration with integrated functional verification.
• Perform behavioral modeling of analog and mixed-signal circuits and generate test vectors.
• Work from concept to mass production, designing digital subsystems for high-performance mixed-signal ICs.
• Support tape-out and post-silicon activities, including validation, characterization, and production testing.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 8+ years, PhD with 6+ years, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 10+ years of proven IC development experience.
• Expertise in Digital Signal Processing.
• Knowledge of Microprocessor and State Machine design.
• Familiarity with digital design flow (microarchitecture, RTL, simulation, verification, synthesis).
• Working knowledge of Verilog RTL language.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with low power and high performance mixed-signal ASIC design.
• Knowledge of ASIC verification.
• Experience with behavioral modeling of Analog Circuits.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, algorithm development, and silicon chip design validation/debug.
