What you will do

• Innovate and build new enterprise security and compliance features for a massive user base.
• Produce high-quality code and contribute to projects that secure the Slack platform.
• Actively own core security features or systems (e.g., SSO, SCIM, EKM architecture).
• Assist support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.
• Mentor other engineers and elevate engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience building web applications.
• Proficiency in functional or imperative programming languages (e.g., PHP, Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or C).
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
• Ability to drive technical decisions and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• A related technical degree is required.
