Salary: $200,000–$225,000 CAD

What you will do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global PR and communications strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Advise executive leadership on reputation and crisis management, and ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Cultivate media and influencer relationships to drive proactive outreach and secure high-impact coverage.
• Oversee executive speaking engagements, particularly focusing on AI leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing PR and communications team.
• Manage budgets for PR campaigns, social media, and agency partnerships.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in PR and strategic communications, including leadership roles.
• Proven success in managing media relations, media strategies, and crisis communications.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading PR/Comms in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with AI narratives and integrated communications strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Strong network of media and leadership contacts, with a preference for learning industry and/or AI experts.
• Global communications and reputation management experience.
