TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS): Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for multiple client projects with an accent on Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD optimization. Focus on building scalable AWS environments using Terraform and ensuring high availability and security of production systems.

Location: Remote, but associated with Sofia, Bulgaria

What you will do

  • Design and maintain AWS infrastructure across multiple client projects.
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure repeatable and scalable deployments.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the delivery process.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, IAM).
  • Expertise in Terraform, including modules and state management.
  • Proven track record as a Senior DevOps Engineer with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and security best practices.
  • Must be based in or associated with Sofia, Bulgaria

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
