Infrastructure Architect

TL;DR

Infrastructure Architect: Supporting customer’s private cloud and datacenter environment with an accent on defining and designing the future-state infrastructure architecture. Focus on infrastructure planning, hardware forecasting, and aligning infrastructure capacity with software and business requirements.

Location: Hybrid (2 days per week onsite in Bratislava office)

Salary: from 3000 EUR gross per month

What you will do

• Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions aligned with current and future business needs.
• Define and drive future-state architecture for private cloud and on-premise datacenter environments.
• Translate software and application requirements into infrastructure and hardware specifications.
• Plan and forecast hardware needs, coordinate large-scale HW purchases, and align them with infrastructure growth strategy.
• Design and oversee network architecture and network solutions within datacenter and private cloud environments.
• Present, explain, and defend architectural proposals to the customer.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Infrastructure Architect or Senior Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands-on expertise in private cloud and datacenter architecture, enterprise networking solutions, virtualization platforms, compute and storage infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure sizing and hardware capacity planning.
• Experience coordinating hardware procurement and forecasting infrastructure demand.
• Ability to design robust network architectures in enterprise environments.
• English (mandatory) and Slovak or Czech (fluent).

Nice to have

• Hybrid cloud architecture experience.
• Knowledge of automation / Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Experience in enterprise-scale or highly regulated environments.
