What you will do

• Define and develop research topics within your area of expertise.
• Collaborate with game production teams to develop innovative prototypes.
• Share knowledge internally through presentations and externally by publishing papers.
• Participate in recruitment and assess candidates for positions.
• Stay updated on the latest academic progress and guide graduate students.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proven background in applied or basic research.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning techniques or optimization methods.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras.
• Ability to lead research through standard experimental methodologies.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese.

Nice to have

• A track record of publications in conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, SIGGRAPH, or GDC.
• Previous experience in video games production or a similar domain.
