Software Engineer II (Golang): Building and enhancing the core Tech Hub platform to automate internal engineering workflows and lifecycle management with an accent on microservices architecture and cloud-native integrations. Focus on solving complex infrastructure challenges, scaling foundational systems, and improving developer experience across a global engineering organization.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Berlin, Germany (Hybrid: 2 days a week in-office)

What you will do
- Build the Tech Hub platform, including integrations and automations for internal engineering teams.
- Develop microservices and backend integrations to bridge Tech Hub with various company-wide systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure, CI/CD, data, and ML-related projects.
- Analyze and solve challenges faced by internal engineers and managers to increase operational efficiency.
- Deploy, maintain, and own your code in a production environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience with Golang, Postgres, and BigQuery.
- Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture, microservices, and cloud providers (AWS or GCP).
- Experience with writing unit, behavior, and integration tests for clean, maintainable code.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, cross-functional environment.
- Comfort taking full ownership of your services from development through to production.
Nice to have
- Experience with React, Node, TypeScript, or Python.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI, GraphQL, or gRPC.
- Experience building agentic or ML-powered applications.
