What you will do
- Design challenging and engaging levels using difficulty settings, special elements, obstacles, and goal types.
- Brainstorm and design unique level goals and elements to enhance gameplay.
- Collaborate with design, art, and development teams to implement levels from concept to launch.
- Design and polish levels using editors and testing tools based on user feedback and data.
- Maintain design documentation.
- Stay updated on trends and play games to improve design insight.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Game Design, Computer Science, Game Development, Multimedia Arts, Communication Design or related fields; or an equivalent combination of education and exposure.
- 0-1 years of experience working as a Designer or in a similar capacity.
- Strong creative and critical thinking skills, good at communicating ideas and concepts.
- Understanding of basic design principles or a general knowledge of how games work.
- Familiar with using tools like Google Docs/Sheets, Unity, Figma, Adobe CC, or Data Analysis Tools.
- Interest in gaming industry trends and exploring games (Mobile, PC, Console).
- Proactive team player and comfortable with taking feedback and reiterating to improve designs.
