TL;DR

Producer (Game Development): Managing cross-disciplinary goal teams and supervising key areas of game development from concept to completion with an accent on project management, team leadership, and timely delivery of high-quality content. Focus on prioritising work, removing blockers, and conducting performance reviews for team members.

Location: Onsite in Guildford, UK. Sponsorship cannot be offered for this vacancy.

What you will do

  • Manage several cross-disciplinary goal teams, ensuring quality implementation.
  • Run daily catch-ups, plan sprints, and track milestones in project management tools like Jira.
  • Proactively raise challenges to project progress, highlight concerns, and suggest solutions.
  • Develop contingency plans to handle unforeseen challenges and ensure project continuity.
  • Line manage a team, providing leadership, support, feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Partner with Discipline Leads to ensure performance reviews include constructive feedback and clear objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Producer within game development.
  • Strong understanding of the game development lifecycle and multi-discipline workflows.
  • Experience running or supporting scrum teams and delivering against defined milestones.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in decision-making, prioritisation, and problem-solving under pressure.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing people and teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Jira, ShotGrid, or similar production tools would be beneficial.
