IBM Mainframe Developer (Mainframe): Supporting critical card and payments systems running on IBM Mainframe with an accent on COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, and CICS development. Focus on integrating with external systems and strengthening team performance and skills.

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia or Gdańsk, Poland (3 days per week from the office)

Salary: 1,200–1,400 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Join a long-term financial program supporting Retail Banking and Mobile Services.
• Support critical card and payments systems running on IBM Mainframe.
• Integrate with external systems, including Java-based ones.
• Actively share knowledge and experience to strengthen team performance and skills.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in Software Development.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe development, COBOL, JCL, Endevor, DB2, IMS, and CICS.
• Strong Cards / Payments domain-specific knowledge.
• Hands-on integration experience with external systems (e.g., Java).
• Ability to actively share your knowledge and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAFe-/agile methodology.
• Experience in Test Driven Development and using the system development life cycle.
