What you will do

• Continually adopt consistent and robust management procedures for processing Personal Data, including transfers to outside the EEA.
• Supervise and advise on ICO/Data Privacy regulatory investigations and data protection impact assessments.
• Prepare board reports and establish data protection reporting to demonstrate compliance with legislation.
• Implement and maintain a personal data breach notification and management procedure to respond to breaches.
• Liaise with in-house and/or external counsel regarding legal developments affecting data protection compliance.

Requirements

• Extensive Data protection knowledge in technology-driven financial services or regulated business, including relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance.
• Technical mindset with an ability to analyse data protection and processing issues in the context of complex IT systems (Digital, Cloud, Mainframe).
• Strategic business acumen and understanding of Organisation strategy.
