TL;DR
Senior Customer Analyst (Retail): Conducting in-depth analysis of customer behavior and sales data to inform commercial strategy and marketing campaigns with an accent on building predictive models and data experimentation. Focus on translating complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders and driving business performance.
Location: Hybrid working with up to 2 days working from home. Based at Trade House, Mead Avenue, Houndstone Business Park, Yeovil, BA22 8RT. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
Salary: Competitive, plus discretionary annual bonus up to 20%.

What you will do
- Conduct analysis into customer behaviour, purchasing patterns, and sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Translate complex data into engaging reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders and board members.
- Build predictive models to support business decision making.
- Deliver data experimentation to optimise customer targeting and segmentation.
- Develop and maintain customer segmentation models.
- Mentor and support junior members of the analytics team.
Requirements
- Experience in customer data/analytics, ideally within the retail industry.
- Strong background in predictive analytics, preferably in customer marketing.
- Expertise in data analysis, statistical modelling, data science, and machine learning techniques.
- Significant experience in data visualisation and storytelling.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and data visualisation platforms.
- Strong relationship management skills and experience in coaching.
