About position
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Go Developer to strengthen the backend foundation of our marketing data platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance services in Go, solving complex engineering challenges, and driving technical excellence across the stack. We value deep technical expertise, humility, ownership, and a product-oriented mindset.
Primary Responsibilities
▪️Architect and implement backend services using Go, with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
▪️Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization, refactoring, and modernization.
▪️Collaborate with Software Engineers, Solution Architect, Product Manager, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals.
▪️Take ownership of technical challenges and drive them to resolution.
▪️Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
▪️Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and peer reviews.
▪️Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, services, and integrations.
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, you need a wide range of skills:
▪️Deep expertise in Go (Golang) and backend architecture.
▪️Experience designing and scaling microservices and APIs.
▪️Experience with cloud-native development, especially on AWS, including Lambda, Beanstalk, ECS/EKS, SNS/SQ, S3, RDS.
▪️Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
▪️Strong understanding of observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
▪️Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
▪️Ability to debug and optimize performance across services.
▪️Passion for clean code, automation, and developer experience.
Experience:
▪️6+ years in backend development, including 4+ years in Go.
▪️Proven track record of solving complex engineering problems and delivering production-grade systems.
Education:
▪️Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
▪️Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
