Sustainability And Climate Analyst (ESG): Gathering and analyzing ESG and climate data for corporate clients to strengthen ESG strategies and reporting with an accent on understanding material ESG topics and supporting regulatory reporting. Focus on developing ESG data sets, conducting rating reviews, and improving disclosure quality for sustainable investors.

Location: Hybrid work model setup in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines. Must operate within local working hours.

What you will do

• Systematically gather ESG data from company disclosures.
• Develop knowledge and expertise on ESG themes and investor consumption of information.
• Support GHG footprinting and regulatory reporting projects (e.g., CSRD).
• Develop and maintain corporate and investor ESG data sets.
• Develop standardized PowerPoint decks for corporate clients and conduct ESG rating review exercises.
• Update descriptions of procedures and internal processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Climate Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of proven experience in financial services, ESG research/Sustainable finance/Credit Ratings, sustainability thinktanks, or academic research institutes.
• Advanced user of Excel & PowerPoint; tech-savvy.
• Fluency in English with highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong research and analytical skills, able to balance multiple assignments and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high quality.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with working with data.
• Proficiency in calculating scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions (inventory boundaries, supply chain emissions).
• Knowledge of ESG regulations, ESG rating agencies & ESG investment strategies.
