Senior Software Engineer (SaaS)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (SaaS): Responsible for building one of hirify.global’s new SaaS products using AWS serverless architecture, AWS CDK & Python with an accent on designing, developing, testing, securing & deploying services. Focus on continuous and iterative engineering cycles with emphasis on code quality, supportability, scalability, and performance.

Location: Must be based in Israel

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, secure, and deploy services from planning to production.
• Create architecture for cloud-based systems, considering scalability, security, and performance.
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of features in SaaS applications.
• Participate in continuous and iterative engineering cycles with emphasis on code quality, supportability, scalability, and performance.
• Optimize and challenge the status quo through code design, high-quality code, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field / technology Elite unit alumni with relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Python / Go / Java / Node/ C++ (Python is a definite advantage).
• 2+ of hands on experience in developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems on AWS.
• Proven experience with creating architecture for cloud-based systems, considering scalability, security, and performance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to coach others.
• Proactive by nature; internal drive for excellence and improvement.
