hirify.global is a staffing company looking for a contract Telecom Analyst for one of its clients.

What you will do

• Plan, design, test, implement, and continuously improve enterprise network solutions.
• Configure Cisco IOS, test, and implement new network hardware devices (routers and switches).
• Maintain accurate diagrams and configurations for all network devices.
• Prepare engineering job packages including detailed parts lists and documentation.
• Ensure cost-effective design of systems to meet business needs and provide reliable service.
• Procure, turn-up, and troubleshoot both private and public WAN circuits.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Information Technology with at least five years in design and support of Cisco Systems’ products.
• Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and various Cisco Products.
• Understanding of communication technology and fundamentals.
• Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal relational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrated ability to work productively with little direct supervision.

Nice to have

• Cisco Certifications such as CCNA, CCDA (desired), CCNP, CCDP, CCIE (preferred).
• Experience with Cisco routers and switches, Cisco ACS, Cisco wireless controllers and APs, and Cisco VPN concentrators.
• Experience in technology areas including Layer 3 Switching, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, GRE, HSRP, GLBP, IPSEC, SSL, AAA, SNMP.
