Field Tech Strategist (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Field Tech Strategist (AI, Cybersecurity): Driving and communicating the company’s technical vision and strategy across the Eastern US and internationally, focusing on supporting customers, partners, and engaging with governments on cybersecurity policy. Focus on maintaining in-depth industry knowledge, identifying new technologies for competitive advantage, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Location: Remote within the Eastern US (EST timezone required). Must be able to work from the USA.

Salary: $155,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Support current and new customers by sharing hirify.global’s long-range strategic vision and product roadmap.
• Drive and communicate hirify.global’s technology strategy to customers, partners, investors, media, and industry events.
• Engage with governments and regulators on cybersecurity, technical policy, and innovation.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, competitive landscape, and related developments.
• Use stakeholder feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
• Discover new technologies that yield competitive advantage through core platform or technology partnerships.

Requirements

• Ability or experience in developing security strategies for companies and/or governments and overseeing their successful implementation.
• Broad information security competency and experience across strategy, governance, technology, and policy.
• Deep and broad knowledge of security issues and trends (GRC space), able to articulate high-level security strategy to diverse audiences.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders and C-level executives.
• Experience speaking at industry conferences, publishing blogs, podcasts, white papers, or conducting media interviews.
• Experience in roles such as Regional CTO, Enterprise Technology Strategist, Strategic Consultant, or Enterprise Security Architect.
• Hands-on experience in detailed research and analysis.
• Experience across various security disciplines, including nation state, e-crime, and hacktivist tradecraft.
• Experience with/exposure to Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, SIEM/Log Management, Mobile Security, Identity Security, and Incident Response.
• Regional travel with some international travel is expected.
