Focus on managing a global team of Business Development Managers, developing go-to-market strategies, and overseeing alliance operations for Ubuntu and cloud technologies.

Location: Remote. Must be based remotely in AMER regions.

What you will do

  • Build and own the global alliance strategy and development with IBM.
  • Expand strategic relationships and enable IBM teams on the partnership.
  • Drive business growth with IBM across sell-to, sell-through, and sell-with motions.
  • Manage, develop, and grow a global team of Business Development Managers.
  • Deliver on targets, objectives, and represent the partner's voice.
  • Align and support internal hirify.global field teams to identify and transact opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Alliance Manager/Director.
  • Solid experience in Linux, virtualization, containers, and other cloud technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong executive relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with a focus on revenue growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex ideas.
  • Autonomous, disciplined, hands-on, and results-oriented mentality.
