What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor the Data Engineering squad to foster a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
• Oversee the entire data supply chain, from design to operation of mission-critical data pipelines (batch and real-time), ensuring peak scalability and performance.
• Guarantee end-to-end data quality, accuracy, and consistency across the Data Platform for reliable reporting and precise analytics.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and concrete delivery plans.
• Align all data engineering practices with group standards, driving security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Lead automation, optimisation, and innovation within data processing to continuously boost performance and maximize cost-efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience successfully managing large-scale data projects and high-performing data engineering team(s).
• Strong expertise in Big Data technologies like AWS Redshift, S3, EMR, Airflow, Kafka, Spark, Iceberg, and Hudi for designing scalable data models and pipelines.
• Robust ETL/ELT engineering skills and hands-on experience with analytics/time-series technologies (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch).
• Strong coding abilities in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Experience thriving in modern engineering environments including Linux, containers, and Kubernetes, for building cloud-first production-ready data systems.
• English: B2 required.
