Location: Onsite in St Julian’s, Malta. Relocation support to Malta is provided.

What you will do

• Collaborate to identify, document, and maintain data domains, data assets, and data flows.
• Support the Data Governance Lead in maintaining data catalog, data lineage, and glossaries, including updates and quality checks.
• Help define and embed data ownership, stewardship, and accountability across teams.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in data definitions, quality, or usage and drive improvements.
• Act as a liaison between data owners, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure principles are applied.
• Contribute to embedding data governance principles into day-to-day practices and implementing the strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, or analytics.
• Strong ownership, precision, prioritization, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey technical and business concepts.
• Good understanding of data governance practices such as data ownership, stewardship, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Ability to understand data flows, data processing pipelines, and analytical data structures.
• Strong Excel skills and a solid analytical mindset.
