Financial Services Analyst (Fintech, Crypto): Supporting the growth and scaling of hirify.global’s diverse product offerings with an accent on managing operational support activities including reconciliation, trade support, and settlement. Focus on understanding risks for different asset types, monitoring trading activity, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping entries.

Location: London, UK. This role requires in-office collaboration for 10+ days a month.

What you will do

• Monitor intraday trading and settlement activity in close partnership with the Trading and Markets team.
• Understand risks and requirements for different asset types, including cryptocurrencies, for quick responses to market activity.
• Record transactions in systems to maintain accurate bookkeeping entries reflecting product and operational activities.
• Become an expert in finance operational flows by documenting existing processes with key collaborators.
• Support a globally distributed customer base for 24x7 product offerings, including weekend and holiday activity.

Requirements

• Relevant hands-on experience in operations, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Proven experience monitoring venues and systems in real-time to uncover and resolve exceptions and blocking issues.
• Willingness to work a weekend shift pattern as required.
• High attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve and remain organized in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with implementing off-the-shelf and in-house solutions.
• Broad understanding of markets and instruments (cleared, OTC, crypto, derivatives).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Experience with SQL and crafting queries for daily operations.
