Customer Success Engineer: Driving long-term customer outcomes across the Data Platform with an accent on onboarding, adoption, optimization, and identifying churn risk. Focus on applying deep disaster recovery and resilience expertise, conducting recovery simulations, and delivering measurable customer value.

What you will do
- Configure customer accounts, customize backup policies, and facilitate onboarding for stakeholders.
- Identify migration opportunities, analyze usage, and align business outcomes with product adoption.
- Conduct assessments, build protection plans, and recommend software architectures across the Data Platform.
- Run recovery simulations and deliver quarterly resilience reports using the Data Resilience Maturity Model.
- Monitor signals to detect churn risk, define mitigation plans, and partner on renewal strategy with technical insights.
- Build business cases, define TCO, articulate value propositions for expansion, and engage CISO/CIO stakeholders with updates.
Requirements
- 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery (e.g., Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales SE, Technical Account Manager).
- Hands-on expertise across operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, and cloud platforms.
- Strong experience designing and executing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
- VMCE certification required (may be completed post-hire within an agreed timeframe).
- Business level of English preferred.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with platform capabilities.
- Preferred industry certifications: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or Microsoft Azure Administrator/Solutions Architect Expert.
