Junior Instructional Designer Digital Upskilling (AI): Supporting the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of digital upskilling content for Data & AI, Automation, and Personal Productivity. Focus on using iterative instructional design approaches, analyzing learner needs, and ensuring content accuracy and accessibility within the Learning Experience System.

Location: Hybrid work in Essen, Hannover, Munich, Berlin, or Hamburg, Germany. Workation possible for up to 20 days per year within Europe.

What you will do

• Support the design, development, and deployment of upskilling content on digital topics such as Data & AI, Automation, and Personal Productivity.
• Apply iterative instructional design approaches (primarily SAM) to ensure content is effective and attractive.
• Assist in analyzing learner needs and pain points to translate them into clear learning objectives.
• Create content using (AI-based) authoring tools and manage courses within the Learning Experience System (LXP).
• Collaborate closely with SMEs and business stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• Help ensure all learning content is accessible, user-friendly, and meets quality standards.
• Contribute to analyzing data on learning content performance to continuously improve instructional materials.

Requirements

• Degree or near completion in Instructional design, Human Resource Management, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience with a proven track record in up- and reskilling.
• Business fluent in German and English (both written and verbal).
• Basic proficiency in Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), Techsmith Camtasia, and Synthesia.
• Foundational understanding and initial practical experience with the SAM instructional design approach.
• High level of personal commitment to complete tasks consciously, reliably, and end-to-end.

Nice to have

• Initial experience with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or Frontify.
• Understanding of other instructional design approaches, such as ADDIE.
• Affinity with digital topics (e.g., Data, AI, Automation).
