TL;DR

Support Engineer (Cloud/DevOps): Providing deep technical support for Cloud products like Terraform and HashiCorp Platform with an accent on debugging customer issues, reproducing problems, and finding viable solutions. Focus on collaborating with engineering to fix defects, improving product documentation, and ensuring world-class customer experiences.

Location: Hybrid in Bulgaria (work at hirify.global office near airport at least 1 day/week, during Bulgaria business hours 10AM-7PM local time)

What you will do

  • Reproduce and debug customer issues, working to find viable solutions.
  • Attend customer meetings as needed to debug products and liaise between customers and HashiCorp engineering.
  • Update and improve product documentation, guide feature development, and assist in bug fixes.
  • Handle Sev-1 tickets in accordance with established processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and participate in beta testing for new product features.
  • Share knowledge, including documentation and KB articles.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Customer Support, Support Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Software Engineering, or System Administration experience.
  • Familiarity with Linux, CI/CD pipelines, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Virtualization and Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (basic understanding).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and basic knowledge in SQL & relational databases.
  • Good understanding of compute networking.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with logging/monitoring systems (e.g., ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work 8 hours during Bulgaria business hours (10 AM to 7 PM local time).
  • Ability to work at the hirify.global office (near airport) at least 1 day per week.
  • Availability for weekend stand-by once every 4-6 weeks.
