TL;DR

Sales Development Manager (SaaS): Leading and managing a team of SDRs to achieve quarterly targets and drive success, with an accent on individual and team skill development, coaching, and performance management. Focus on creating effective training programs, developing educational materials, and ensuring comprehensive product knowledge for the team.

Location: Requires candidates to be based within commuting distance of company hubs, which include locations in the US (e.g., Boston) and UK (e.g., London).

Salary: $144,000–$160,000 OTE (includes base salary and commission), plus stock options

What you will do

  • Lead up to 12 Sales Development Representatives to consistently overachieve quarterly targets.
  • Conduct weekly 1-to-1s and define monthly development objectives for your team members.
  • Coach and mentor a world-class cross-functional team with a strong focus on skill development.
  • Assist with the hiring, onboarding, and training of new SDRs.
  • Collaborate with other SDR Managers to develop educational materials, sales scripts, and product updates.
  • Design specific training sessions using gamification, role-playing activities, and pitch-simulation.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within the SaaS or tech industry.
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of the sales development process, from lead generation to opportunity creation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A very creative and solution-driven attitude.
  • Hands-on experience creating presentations (e.g., videos or slides) and designing effective training/onboarding programs.
  • Ability to commute to one of the company's hubs (e.g., London or Boston) 3 days a week.
