TL;DR

Software Developer (SaaS): Designing and implementing clean, scalable code for customer-facing SaaS systems in the education sector with an accent on architectural decisions and product improvements. Focus on troubleshooting, debugging, and deploying software solutions in an Agile environment.

Location: Remote (United Kingdom work authorization required, visa sponsorship not provided)

Salary: £50,000–£60,000

What you will do

  • Contribute to design, architecture, and implementation decisions for SaaS products.
  • Write and implement clean, scalable code.
  • Analyze existing programs and make modifications and improvements.
  • Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies (refinement, planning, review/retrospectives).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, verify, and deploy software solutions.
  • Recommend and implement product improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong aptitude for programming and problem-solving.
  • Commercial experience with customer-facing SaaS systems.
  • Solid experience with C#, ASP.Net, WebApi2, SQL, and Entity Framework.
  • Proven experience working within an Agile environment.
  • A good team player with the ability to support colleagues.
  • Work authorization for the United Kingdom is required (visa sponsorship not provided).

Nice to have

  • JavaScript/jQuery experience.
  • Azure DevOps/Azure Hosting experience.
