Location: Remote from the United States (SF Bay Area or NYC preferred)

Compensation: $295,000 - $365,000 USD OTE + Equity

What you will do

• Architect infrastructure solutions for strategic M&E partnerships, including studio-scale production pipelines and generative AI deployments.
• Translate complex business goals into precise engineering requirements for inference batch size and storage optimization.
• Define and validate reference architectures for critical ISVs in the VFX, gaming, and generative AI landscape.
• Influence the M&E product roadmap by providing field evidence to the global Head of Product and Head of Engineering.
• Lead quarterly product summits with Core Engineering to drive vertical momentum and technical roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or distributed systems.
• Deep, production-grade working knowledge of GPU infrastructure (H100, L40s) and inference-based solutioning is non-negotiable.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s), high-performance parallel file systems (e.g., Lustre, WEKA), and networking (InfiniBand/Ethernet).
• Proficiency in model serving, quantization, KV caching, and latency tradeoffs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong executive presence with experience presenting technical roadmaps to C-suite stakeholders (CTOs, VPs of Engineering).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with VFX pipelines, render farm management, or studio-scale content production workflows.
• Experience building platforms from zero in a startup environment or as a founder.
