TL;DR
Cloud Business Consultant (Cloud Optimization): Helping customers efficiently orchestrate their cloud resources and distill usage data into meaningful business intelligence with an accent on financial analysis of cloud spend and identifying optimization opportunities. Focus on guiding clients in AWS utilization, preparing in-depth data analysis, and presenting conclusions to high-level stakeholders.
Location: This role requires candidates to be based in Mexico. If you live within a 40km radius of our Mexico City office, you are expected to work in the office two days a week. If further than 40km, you may work fully remote from the states of Monterrey, Aguascalientes, Nuevo Leon, Puebla, or Queretaro.

What you will do
- Engage with 10-15 enterprise cloud customers to understand their needs and help them accomplish their goals, representing Rackspace.
- Provide financial analysis of client cloud spend, including trend reporting and identification of cloud optimization opportunities.
- Prepare in-depth analysis using big data and present conclusions to high-level stakeholders, providing supporting documentation and reports.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the AWS platform, guiding clients in their utilization of AWS services.
- Collaborate with other Rackspace teams (professional services and managed services) to support the delivery of cloud management projects and best practices.
- Support the sales team in new business activities and work on assigned key initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience supporting technology products or services.
- Ability to communicate credibly about technology with engineers and developers.
- Customer relationship management experience, including directly managing key stakeholder relationships.
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
- Pro-level proficiency in Excel, including creating summaries, pivot tables, and charts.
- Proven ability to lead meetings with C-level executives.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI, or SQL.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
- Experience using a cloud management platform (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, CloudCheckr, CloudAbility).
- Demonstrated ability to cross-sell and up-sell.
