Summer Intern - Embedded Firmware Engineer (Embedded Firmware): Developing bare-metal embedded firmware for ARM Cortex-M processors and automating the build and test process with an accent on embedded solutions for consumer brands and automation. Focus on hands-on development, Python automation, and CI system integration.

Location: Hybrid (Phoenix, Arizona). Interns must be based within commutable distance of Phoenix, Arizona, or willing to relocate there. Export control restrictions apply; candidates must be able to access technical data without an export license.

What you will do

• Develop embedded firmware solutions for ARM Cortex-M processors.
• Use Python for automating the build, loading, and testing of embedded solutions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an M.S. or Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Must be returning to school for at least one semester following the internship.
• Available for full-time employment during the summer internship.
• Embedded firmware development experience or coursework.
• Python 3x programming experience.
• Experience with bare-metal firmware for ARM Cortex-M or RISCV processors.
• Experience with Git and familiarity with CI systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
