What you will do
- Build positive and collaborative relationships with product, engineering, and research teams to explore, build, and ship work.
- Develop deep expertise across multiple product problem areas and quickly prototype solutions.
- Talk to users, understand their problems, and design simple, elegant experiences.
- Validate product ideas through experimental design and research approaches.
- Help junior designers develop empathy for users and advocate for user needs in product strategy.
- Help build, evolve, and maintain team assets, component libraries, and design systems.
Requirements
- Experience designing a modern SaaS or enterprise platform with an outstanding portfolio.
- Expert knowledge and experience with driving and applying the end-to-end iterative design process.
- Passion for solving core product problems while balancing all facets of a user experience.
- Experience collaborating with other designers to build a cohesive product.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to help the team and stakeholders understand design rationale.
- Experience in building and evolving design systems, tokens, components, and usage patterns.
