What you will do
- Define and enforce best practices and coding standards across projects.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high code quality.
- Communicate clear instructions to team members and help manage day-to-day operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Spark applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring reliability, and create comprehensive documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Extensive experience with Apache Spark, including platforms like Databricks and/or Azure Synapse/Fabric.
- Proficient in Python, with strong skills in data manipulation using Pandas/Polars.
- Solid understanding of columnar data storage formats, particularly Parquet, with practical experience using Delta Tables.
- Proven expertise in data processing, analysis, and transformation workflows.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
- English level: B2+ (Intermediate+).
Nice to have
- Experience working with Azure Cloud services (Service Bus, Data Lake, Blob Storage, Redis).
- Familiarity with FastAPI.
- Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
